Our Story

Ga-Tang celebrates the deep love of rice in Filipino culture. Named after "gatang," an old Filipino unit of rice measurement, our restaurant embodies the heart of Filipino cuisine. Located in Downtown Riverside, California, we bring authentic flavors from across the Philippines—like Bagnet from Ilocos, Longganisa from Cabanatuan, and Ginataan from Bicol. Our mission is to honor Filipino flavors with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, creating elevated yet authentic all-in-one meals.

At Ga-Tang, we offer a space where everyone can enjoy the rich, soulful tastes of traditional Filipino dishes. Unlike many fusion concepts, we are committed to preserving classic flavors that highlight our culinary heritage.
